Speckled edges. 4to. Boards a little worn, slightly rubbed on coners and scuffed around spine and edges. Spine leather is dull and brittle, with a scattering of small scuffs. Firmly bound and internally neat, clean and bright barring the occasional annotation or spot mark.
Fire and Water was a monthly journal of work accomplished by the Fire Department of Great Britain, also including news and articles of interest (some regarding the history of fire-fighting) to firemen and fire brigades and carrying contemporary advertisements for fire equipment and the like. Â
