Top edge sprayed red, other edges deckled. 8vo. Boards gently rounded on corners and spine ends. Hint of toning on endpapers. Dust jacket worn and a little chapped at edges, sunned over spine and mildly discoloured. This book club edition differs from the true first in that the stamped signature on the front panel is printed in red (it was black on the first edition) and has plain, rather than red, endpapers. The dust jacket is not priced and states Book Club Edition. The last James Bond novel published during Fleming's life time.
