Not dated but 1942-49, book produced to War Economy Standards. 190pp. Red cloth covered boards (worn and rubbed at edges, bumped and softening at corners, faded, stained and some soiling). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, else no other library markings. Tape gutter repairs. Well-worn pages, spotted, with the odd crease. Binding soft. This book is not in what would generally be considered collectible condition, but it makes for a sound reading copy or collection filler until a better copy can be found. In its original, price-clipped, dust jacket (worn, rubbed, chipped at edges, right through on corners, crumbling at spine tips, spine creases, old water mark on verso). Dust jacket now protected in archival-quality mylar wrapper which prolongs the life of the paper, keeps it clean and protects it from damage. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket.
