The first 21 volumes (of 26) of the Grove edition of the Works of John Galsworthy, volumes 1 to 21. The three volumes containing the complete Forsyte Saga include fold-out family trees. Uniformly bound in green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles and decorations front and spine. Top edge sprayed green. Decorative endpapers. 12mo. Boards very gently rounded on corners and spine ends, a few mild marks, spines a little sunned. A little spotting on text block edges. Generally internally neat, clean, bright and tight with the occasional mild tanning to prelims. The three volumes containing the Forsyte Saga are more worn than the rest - one has some mottling and rippling to the cloth covers, in another the fold out family tree is present but detached and damaged around edges, and one cracked gutter. The Country House is a little mottled on front panel. An impressive set.
