xii, 244pp, with one fold out map and numerous black and white plate illustrations.  In green pictorial cloth boards with gilt and black lettering front and spine.  8vo.  Cloth rubbed around spine ends, less so on corners, a few mild marks, backstrip lightly sunned.  Some toning and spotting on endpapers, rear hinge partially cracked, previous owner's neat inscription, date 1905, inked onto front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

A vintage history of Uganda, aimed at younger readers.  Ham Mukasa, also known as Hamu Mukasa, was a vizier at the court of Mutesa I of Buganda, now a part of Uganda.
