Strong green cloth-covered boards, embossed and decorated, with gilt lettering to spine. (Cloth worn at edges and a little faded, rounded at sunned spine ends and corners). Internally some occasional spotting as on text block edge, else neat, clean, bright and tight. A very hard to find account of Cromwell, his role in the Civil Wars and the Commonwealth and his legacy.
