1st edition, 1st impression, 192pp. Brown cloth boards with Mills and Boon motif in corner (lightly worn at edges, a few marks). Slightly cocked. Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Occasional spotting. In its original dust jacket (bumped along upper edge, spine crease, shelf wear, ink runs on verso suggesting old water damage). Dust jacket supplied in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect and prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the dust jacket. Scarce title, especially so in its dust jacket (although there was a later paperback reprinting 1975). Catherine Airlie was the pseudonym of Jean S Macleod. She also wrote romantic fiction for Mills and Boon under her real name and was a member of the Romantic Novelist's Association, where she met Barbara Cartland who was by all accounts, none too friendly towards her.
