pp791-810.  Stitched, without covers.  12mo.  A little bumped at edges but generally neat, clean, bright and tight.  A complete article from an original Blackwood's Magazine of December 1841 regarding the fire at the Tower of London which broke out on 30th October 1841.  The fire, the worst in the history of the Tower of London, destroyed the Bowyer Tower and the Brick Tower and badly damaged the White Tower and the chapel of St Peter ad Vincula.  Fire engines from the Tower of London and the City attended but a supply of water for them could not be found.  J M W Turner drew sketches of the fire and John Wilkes recorded it in his writings.
