Not dated but circa 1950. Three matching volumes from the Britain's Story Told in Pictures Series, each 64pp in an attractive cover and containing between 450 and 650 illustrations, with brief accompanying text. Each in stiff card covers, stapled at spine, a little shelf worn, and some mild, faint spotting, but still evocative of a bygone age and a great learning tool for children (who might be encouraged to colour in some of the illustrations to consolidate learning).
