Not dated but circa 1900. 128pp plus 16pp of illustrated publisher's catalogue of prize & gift books at rear. Black and white, full page illustration to frontispiece by J Littler, plus one further full page black and white illustration (by a different artist). Gorgeous headpieces. Pictorial red-cloth covered boards, illustrated on front and spine. 12mo. Boards a little rubbed and darkened at edges, backstrip cracked along joints. Internally neat and clean barring occasional spotting and the odd finger mark.
