A 2004 reprint of Krag's account of the 1612 incursion by Scottish forces into Norway and the Battle of Kringen - when Berdon Sejelstad shot Sinclair right in the forehead with a bullet of button silver, based on accounts gathered in the Gudbrandson Valley. Kringen, as acknowledged in the publisher's foreword, is a key event in Norwegian history - a manifestation of the nation's independence and its willingness to defend itself.
