Undated. Unpaginated, many black and white and black and red illustrations, a few colour illustration plates (inc. frontispiece). Quarter-bound with tan cloth-covered spine over pictorial paper-covered boards, black titles on front, red illustrations and titles on spine. 8vo. Some small scratches and scuffs to boards. Spine ends lightly rubbed with some split in the cloth at head. Edges heavily rubbed with paper worn through, corners rounded. Text block edges tanning, top and fore edge foxed. 'This book belong to' filled in on front pastedown endpaper, gift inscription on front free endpaper (dated Christmas 1923), light soiling on front endpapers, heavy tanning and heavy creasing along length of rear free endpaper. Hinges stretched. Tanning on last page mirroring fold in rear free endpaper. Moderate foxing throughout, heaviest towards very beginning and end of volume. Children's stories for boys.
