Ninth impression of 2nd edition, 1950. 440pp, complete with two colour fold-out map at rear. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Cloth is a little soiled and marked, gently rubbed on corners and spine base, heavily bumped at spine head and small mark on lower edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, heavily worn dust wrapper, rubbed all rounded edges, folds and joints, some light scratch marks with a little crumbling at spine head.
