Bound in strong burgundy plush leatherette (soft to the touch) with gilt titles (a little frayed at head of spine and crack along top three inches of spine joint, lightly rubbed at corners). Marbled endpapers (with previous owner's inscription and partial gutter crack). Portrait plate frontispiece, illustrated and decorated title page, further plate illustrations. Handsome and evocative volume. Contains Scott's poetry, lyrical works and songs from the Waverley novels.
