First edition.  xxii, 394, [2], with monochrome plate frontispiece and 46 further illustrations.  In red buckram cloth binding with gilt titles on the spine.  Cartographic endpapers.  Large 8vo.  Cloth is a little rubbed and rounded on corners and ends of a sunned spine, bumped on lower leading corner.  Internally a hint of page aging else neat, clean, bright and tight.
