In its original now worn and faded dust jacket, chapped at edges, creased along spine folds, heavily scuffed at head of spine. This story is narrated by a fourteen year old boy, the son of the District Officer in Lower Burma, who discovers a plot by a villainous and vengeful trader to lead a native gang to attack the town and kill his father.
