Undated but circa 1770. xiv, 545pp, [15], engraved frontispiece. Bound in full tan calf's leather, five raised bands on spine. Speckled edges. 8vo. Boards are worn, heavily rubbed - right through on corners and spine ends - marked and scuffed. Text block edges toned, dull and dust-darkened. Previous owner's inscription, dated 1800, on the front free endpaper. A little toning to pages and the odd spot mark, but generally internally neat, clean and tight.
