Moderate foxing to text block edges. Free endpapers lightly foxed and tanned. Moderate foxing to prelim pages, else internally neat, clean, and tight with occasional foxing to leaves. Small corner crease on front free endpaper in Volume II. An invaluable source not only for plasterers but also for designers and specifiers who want to understand plastering methods and materials better. Verrall's work starts at the basic level and then progresses to more complex work, with copious drawings. An excellent reference work for anyone want to rediscover and learn about traditional plastering methods. A really lovely set, hard to find in its original edition.
