Undated but c.1920 reprint (following first publication in 1911). Monochrome plate frontis and three further plate illustrations, all by F Moorsom (the first edition was illustrated by A A Dixon). Beige cloth boards with green rule decorations and black titles (boards strong, sharp and bright with just gentle rubbing at corners). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a previous owner's name on front free endpaper). In its original pictorial dust jacket, price clipped, rubbed and lightly chipped at edges, corners and spine ends; visible shelfwear. Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. This is an unusual dust jacket for this book, the illustrations on front and spine differing from the later 1923 re-issue which also featured illustrations by F Moorsom. Hard to find, especially in this condition.
