Second volume (of three), the other two volumes devoted to Southern Palestine and Jerusalem, and Damascus, Lebanon and Beyond Jordan respectively. xxiv, 690pp, with 130 illustrations and maps, some full page and some in text. Handsome volume in dark olive cloth boards with black and gilded lettering and decoration front and spine, border rules. Black endpapers. Title page printed in red & black. (Boards are a little worn at edges, lightly rubbed at corners and around spine joints, with cloth cracked and fraying at spine tips, mildly marked. Gutters cracked between front and rear endpapers, and between frontispiece and title page, resulting in loosened binding, some mild spotting on early pages, else neat, clean internally. Tall 8vo. A large and heavy volume which will likely require an additional charge for overseas shipping.
