Black leather cover with yapped edges, blue satin ribbon marker bound in; black endpapers, gilt titles on spine.  Text block edges in rose gilt. 8vo. Book presented in a cardboard box which has faded and worn over time, with the date 1933 inscribed inside. Leather ever-so-slightly worn around the extremities. Black endpapers slightly aged.  Prize presentation plate, dated 1933, on front free endpaper. Early blank pages soiled on the top half. Water damage to blank pages at rear, otherwise Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
