Attractive green buckram boards, blind embossed, gilt titles and frames and onlay illustrations (one chipped). Boards a little worn at corners and mildly sunned on spine. Prize plate on front endpaper, indicating volume was presented to one Margaret Freud, Hillcrest, 1914, for languages. Occasional spotting. One leaf detached, another loosening. Handsome volume.
