Complete in two volumes, published in 1845 and 1847 respectively. Volume I: iv, 271, 119, [4]pp, with engraved frontispiece and one large folding map. Volume II: 280, [2], 140, 122, [2]pp, with on folding map, one folding document facsimile and eleven plate illustrations, errata slip bound in at rear. In a recent binding, half calf's leather over brown cloth-covered boards, five raised bands and gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. A little toning to frontispiece and title pages, the folding map in volume II has some damage at edges where it protrudes past the text block, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A handsome, nicely rebound set of this now hard to find early history of the town of Tiverton in Devon.
