The Harrogate Cure

Not dated but internal evidence suggests c. 1910. Green card covers (slightly worn at edges). Numerous black and white illustrations with text and page decorations in green. Some oxidization around staples, and very gently worn at edges, else neat, clean, bright and tight. Primarily written to promote the medicinal qualities of Harrogate's spa waters and treatments to patients seeking 'The Harrogate Cure'; with detailed descriptions of the various springs, spas and treatments available, special qualities of the waters, duration of treatment and costs, and supporting scientific research. Lots of contemporary adverts for hotels, baths, gifts, local toffee etc.
