Cloth rubbed at corners, spine ends and joints, short mild scratch on verso, gently rounded at spine tips. Front hinge cracked, and first four leaves partially detached, with mild corner crease. Small, discreet stamp on title page verso. A history of the Gresley family, created Barons of Gresley in Drakelow in 1611, Norman times to the 19th century, with chapters on Robert de Stafford, Nigel de Stafford, The Gresleys in the 15th and 16th centuries, the line of Baronets, Collateral branches of the family, including the Australian Gresleys, with a concluding piece on Drakelowe in Derbyshire, latterly the family seat.
