Drummond was a Scottish evangelist, biologist and writer. Many of his works and lectures were closely tailored to the immediate needs of his audience at the cost of long-term relevance but in his time he was one of the most religiously influential men of his generation and 'The Greatest Thing in the World, in particular, remains compelling for many in the Christian Community. Although available now as digital reprints, original contemporary copies such as these are uncommon. Pleasing, vintage volumes.
