130pp, with numerous monochrome plates, a few colour plates, line drawings in text and two fold-outs - one a map of the dominion of Canada and the other a reproduction of the Hudson Bay Company's original charter of 1670.  In cream card covers with armorial motif on front panel.  4to.  Covers are worn, rubbed and chipped and edges, some soiling and spotting, marked, creased along spine. Pages are stiff and brittle, showing some signs of compression and perhaps now inert water damage, with some faint and scatteredspotting.  Binding is a little fragile - volume will require careful handling.

A history of the Hudson Bay Company, produced by the Company itself, detailing its activities and development since its charter was granted by Charles I in 1670,
