Decorative, blind stamped blue cloth covered boards, with gilt titles. AEG (all edges gilded). Gently rubbed and rounded at corners, a little toning and spotting. Previous owner's inscription (dated 1846) on endpaper. Slightly shaken. Early children's Christmas story involving the guests of Dr Little Pump, gathered in a small German village near Dresden and their encounter with a talkative bear.
