1930s reprint. 168pp. Not dated but c. 1930. Red cloth boards with black titles and illustration. Monochrome plate frontis. Boards a little faded and rounded at corners and spine ends. Strong and robust. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a little spotting. There's an elaborate, gilded prize presentation plate on the front free endpaper indicating that the volume was presented to Rose Beasley for good attendance in 1933. In its original dust jacket (heavily chapped on lower edge, minor loss at base of spine and shelf wear on verso). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. Hard to find volume, scarce in original dust jacket.
