Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Andrew Garve was one of the pseudonyms of journalist and crime writer, Paul Winterton, founder member of the Crime Writers' Association. The File on Lester (later republished under the title The Lester Affair) was one of his later novels.
