The programme and Order of Service for the ceremony of the enthronement of Donald Coggan, formerly archbishop of York, as Archbishop of Canterbury in January 1975, held at Canterbury Cathedral in the presence of the then Prince of Wales (now King Charles III), the late Princess Margaret and the Duchess of Kent. Brief historical notes on the ceremony and the Canterbury Gospels at end. A ticket for the event and a note on the BBC's broadcasting are loosely laid in. As Archbishop of Canterbury Coggan revived morale within the Church of England, opened a dialogue with Rome and supported the ordination of women. He served as Archbishop of Canterbury until 1980.
