Undated (date at end of text 1927). 224pp, colour tissue guarded frontispiece, 66 black and white illustrations. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on front and spine. 8vo. Spine ends sun-faded, rubbed and rounded with small stain at heel. Corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Text block edges tanning and foxing. Light tanning to endpapers. Internally pages are slightly tanned with occasional foxing to page margins, otherwise a neat , clean, bright and tight volume. Pictorial dust jacket has heavy shelf wear with loss to spine ends and rear cover, chipping along edges and corners.

Authentic early life story of Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon who became HRH the Duchess of York. She subsequently went on to become Queen Consort and then Queen Mother. With beautiful illustrations throughout from her childhood to early motherhood.
