Old tape repair in front endpaper gutter and title page. Pages well-thumbed, a little spotting and the odd mark and corner fold. In its original dust jacket, artwork by Taylor (rubbed and chipped at edges, a few small, flat creases, spine crease, spine ends crumpled, faded, old interior tape reinforcements). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. James Hadley Chase was a pen name of Ren� Lodge Brabazon Raymond.
