288pp. Red cloth-covered boards, a little rubbed at edges, mild mottling. Ex library, markings on front endpaper only. A little dust marked fore-edge and internally slight foxing, else neat, clean, bright and tight. In a pictorial dust jacket, rubbed and chipped at edges, minor loss at spine tips, shelfworn. This second edition copy was released as a 'cheap edition' in 1937, following first publication in 1932. Evadne Price, perhaps best know for her 'Jane' books, also wrote under the pseudonym Helen Zenna Smith. This was her third novel, following Red for Danger and the Haunted Light. Scarce title, almost impossible to find with an original dust jacket.
