Front board lightly stained. Spine sun-faded, ends and corners moderately rubbed and rounded. Text block bottom and fore-edge lightly tanned and moderately foxed, top edge dusty. Endpapers very lightly soiled, free endpaper versos lightly foxed. Half-title page moderately tanned and foxed. Last page of publisher's ads heavily tanned. Occasional pen notes throughout volume. Internally neat and tight. Designed to afford assistance in composition, and also as a work of reference requisite to the secretary, and indispensable to the student.
