Undated (circa 1920s). vi, 172pp, colour frontispiece, [4pp] 'What is Pelmanism?'. Green cloth-covered boards, black titles on spine; blind embossed profile on front. 12mo. Sun-faded spine. Lightly rubbed lower edges, corners and spine ends. Wax drops; wear and some cloth rippling. Dusty top text block edge, all edges tanning and just starting to fox. Endpapers and first page starting to fox and tan. Gutters a little stretched; volume quite loose. Previous owner's name in pencil on front free endpaper. Otherwise, internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Features several black and white illustrations in text. Contains Chirp the First; Chirp the Second; Chirp the Third.
