320pp. Quarter bound in red cloth over dark paper-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine (boards are rubbed and chipped at edges, shelf worn, with a few marks and scuffs, particularly on rear board). Text block edges darkened. Two previous owner's names on slightly toned front endpapers, a little spotting throughout. A lovely, vintage, early edition of what is perhaps Lytton's best known and most influential novel, shaping later 19th century and early 20th century Utopian fiction. 16mo.
