Bound in brown leather with brass surround, brass only and working brass clasp, five raised bands to spine with gilt titles. All edges gilt. 48mo (miniature). Covers are a little faded, rubbed around spine with a few mild marks. Details of two previous owners inked on front endpapers (one dated 1860, the other 1907). Some spotting on endpapers and first and last few true leaves else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
A charming, miniature Book of Common Prayer, bearing the patina of use over the years, edge gilding still vibrant but brass is dull.
