Label from the Booksellers' Retreat at Abbots Langley, dated 1974, on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original, worn and cracked dust jacket, faded over spine and crumpled at corners and spine tips. Dust jacket now protected in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. An increasing hard to find first edition from the increasingly noticed R F Delderfield. 8vo.
