Complete in two volumes. xxviii, 176pp, with 85 plate engravings; iv, 171-308pp, with 106 plate engravings. Uniformly bound in a utilitarian later quarter leather over blue cloth binding with gilt titles on spine. Top edge gilt, all other edges marbled. Title pages with engraved vignettes. 4tos. Boards a little rubbed on corners, rounded at tips of a sunned spine. Library named stamped in gilt on front panels. Volume II has some white brush marks on front panel. Bookplate over labels of North Yorkshire Reference Library on front paste downs, minor library annotations on title pages. Plates and leaves browned with occasional faint spotting, else neat, clean and tight.
