Sixth edition.  xx, 456pp.  Fully bound in tan leather, five raised bands, black leather title label, gilt decorations with armorial decoration of Wolverhampton School on the upper panel.  All edges marbled.  Marbled endpapers.  12mo.  Leather lightly rubbed at corners and around spine, a few mild, scattered marks and some shelf wear.  Prize presentation label on front paste down, indicating that the volume was awarded to a pupil of Wolverhampton School by the headmaster in 1883, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

A handsome vintage volume, bearing the arms of Wolverhampton School containing an English translation of Virgil's epic Latin poem - the story of Aeneas, a Trojan who fled the city upon its fall and made for Italy.
