(Jisbella Lyth was the legendary village postmistress of Ayot St. Lawrence, upon whom Shaw based a character in the play Village Wooing, played on stage by Sybil Thorndyke.) Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Housed in a custom made dark blue cloth box (somewhat mottled) with gilt titles to spine. A collection of short stories, the title story being a satirical allegory relating the experiences of an African black girl who takes literally the biblical teaching to 'seek and you shall find me'.
