First edition, first printing (true first). 220pp, with numerous line drawings, and prefaced with an explanation of how the book came to be written. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles and motif (boards are strong, square and clean, just a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends). Previous owner's name neatly inscribed on the front free endpaper; endpapers have a hint of toning, else internally neat, clean and bright. In its original, richly coloured, dust jacket (a little rubbed and chipped on edges). Dust jacket now protected in a Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
