[vi] 361pp [1] [16 - publisher's catalogue], with monochrome plate frontispiece, tissue-guarded, and two further plate illustrations (as called for) all by Percy Tarrant. In pictorial cloth boards with gilt decoration and lettering (boards a little faded, more markedly on spine, rubbed at edges, especially around the spine base). A little shaken. Previous owner's inscription, dated 1908, on front free endpaper, which is a tad browned, else internally neat, clean and fresh. Small bookseller's ticket (N Porter of South Kensington) on front paste down.
