Not dated but circa 1930. 286pp. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration on front and spine (spine sunned, a little rubbed at spine ends). Front pastedown has rubbed area and some browning on endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. The last volume of the Forsyte saga. There is a tanned newspaper clipping, from the Daily Record for 1 February 1933, reporting at some length the death of John Galsworthy and reflecting on the influence of his work on prisons and penal reform loosely laid in.
