24pp plus 10 plates of illustrations. Decorated brown card covers (heavily chapped at edges, a little faded and some marks). Internally neat and clean but pages has been thumbed. A record of the summer outing of the Quatuor Coronati (the premier lodge of masonic research) to Leeds in 1929, giving details of the gathering and the places they visited, including Adel Church, Bolton Priory, Ripon Cathedral, Kirkstall Abbey, Knaresborough Castle, etc. It concludes with a history of freemasonry in Leeds in the 18th century, based on a paper delivered by one of the Brothers at the closing dinner. Plate illustrations, of which two are in colour show views local to Leeds, including Bolton Priory, Temple Newsam, Kirkstall Abbey, Knaresborough and Fountains Abbey. A rare survival, hard to find.
