Pale green, stiff card covers with central motif on front (wrappers a little marked). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. 8vo. Thomas Hennell (1903 - 1945) was a British artist, poet and writer from Ripley in Kent. He specialised in illustrations and essays on the subject of the British countryside. An official war artist, he was killed in action in Indonesia in 1945; this collection of his poetry was published two years after his death. An earlier collection was published before the war. Scarce.
