In publisher's de luxe binding - full brown leather with blind decorations front, spine and rear, gilt lettering on spine which has five raised bands. All edges gilt. Coloured endpapers. 12mo. Leather is rubbed and rounded on corners and at ends of a sunned spine, with some small, mild scuffs around joints. Front endpapers appear tired, previous owner's ink inscription, dated 1912, on front free endpaper else internally fresh and crisp throughout.
A beautiful book - would make a superb gift for a lover of Eliot's novels.
