Cloth is worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, cracked over joints and fraying at spine ends. Some spotting on text block edges. Endpapers lightly spotted, with a gift inscription neatly inked on front free endpaper, pages a little creamy else internally neat, clean and tight. Newspaper clipping regarding the discovery of paintings at the former house of John Wesley (another hiding place?) loosely laid in.
