An illustrated catalogue of fire-fighting equipment produced by the General Fire Appliance Company, featuring the GFA Chemical Fire Engine, a telescopic fire escape, methyl bromide fire extinguishers, hose reels and breathing apparatus etc, with illustrations and discriptive text, with some very brief notes on the history of fire-fighting equipment. A letter from the company, dated November 1940, describing the best fire extinguisher for a small country house, loosely laid in. Rare survival from war time fire-fighting history, in very nice condition.
