Undated but circa 1940. 24pp stapled booklet in light card covers, with many black and white illustrations.  Landscape 12mo.  Gentle edge wear to card covers else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  

An illustrated catalogue of fire-fighting equipment produced by the General Fire Appliance Company, featuring the GFA Chemical Fire Engine, a telescopic fire escape, methyl bromide fire extinguishers, hose reels and breathing apparatus etc, with illustrations and discriptive text, with some very brief notes on the history of fire-fighting equipment.  A letter from the company, dated November 1940, describing the best fire extinguisher for a small country house, loosely laid in.  Rare survival from war time fire-fighting history, in very nice condition.
